Immerse yourself in what was once designated as a “pocket wilderness” while you disconnect from your stressful routine. Take some time to concentrate on your own self-care and personnel fitness as you take in the relaxing smells, sounds, and sights of nature.
Join a ranger at the Honey Creek Loop trail head parking lot for a strenuous 5.7 mile hike. Honey Creek Loop holds some of Big South Fork’s most rugged terrain, and it will take your breath away with its beauty. Enjoy large magnificent rock formations, refreshing waterfalls, and the unique feeling of being engulfed by the forest. You will be using your hands and knees to maneuver through parts of this trail as it meanders through the creek, so you may get wet.
Bring water, snacks, lunch, and wear appropriate shoes and clothing for a safe and comfortable adventure! This hike is worth 23 GO BIG Challenge points!
