Let's take a trip to Nashville for NaNoCon! Sunday Assembly Nashville is hosting guest speaker David Silverman, president of American Atheists, followed by a whole day and night of fun! If we get enough people signed up we can rent a van and all make the trip together--it will be quite the party bus! Members of Sunday Assembly Nashville have offered to put our members up for the night if you want to stay overnight, or you can head back before partaking in too many of the festivities.
Please RSVP as soon as you can confirm you are going so we can coordinate overnight stays and carpools. We will post a meeting place once we know who is coming, but it will be at 9AM in West Knoxville.
ABOUT NANOCON 2016: Here it is – the big debut of the very first annual Nashville Nones Convention: It's a one-day celebration of cool ideas, good vibes, great food, and an afterparty called the NaNoConda! David Silverman, president of American Atheists, will be our first-ever keynote speaker – not a bad way to start. We, the religiously unaffiliated, the “nones”, are the fastest growing group in the nation, but in the Bible Belt you’d never know it – so why not get a bunch of us together and get a party started! Let’s build a warm, inclusive community celebrating all the cool ways we DO belong. You were there when it all started, and you’ll have the great stories, new friends, and happy memories to show for it. We’re among friends… welcome!
