Candace and Graham will be our MCs leading us through this month’s theme of Family, with an emphasis on raising freethinking children in a multicultural society. We are excited to host Amy Monsky, the Southeast Regional Director for Camp Quest, giving the presentation. She recently gave a great talk at NaNoCon, where she emphasized the importance of creating loving and accepting environments that are crucial to a child’s healthy development.
There will also be an opportunity for parents to share their own trials, tribulations, and successes of raising their children in a predominantly religious society. We’re also embracing Pagan tradition by having a “Humanist Egg Hunt” that reinforces secular values for the kids.
As always there will be music, dancing and a fun interactive game to help get your spirits up for the rest of your beautiful spring Sunday afternoon!
The International’s Layover Brunch is unfortunately not set to begin until April, but have no fear! We've made a brunch reservation at Bistro by the Bijou afterwards. Doors open at 10AM and the assembly gets started at 10:30. Please join us as we celebrate the one life we know we have!
This is the public event you can share with non-members. Please join the group to get invited automatically to Sunday Assembly Knoxville events! https://www.facebook.com/groups/432188606954173/
