Come out to CAC Beardsley Community Farm to support your local non-profit urban farm! We are going to be getting a lot of projects done and would love to have our amazing community members there. Some projects include trellising tomatoes, harvesting vegetables and fruits, watering, and of course we will have a weeding party! The workday goes from 9-12pm. Please contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (865)546-8446 or here on Facebook!
The class: Our Beat the Bugs With Bugs class will be taugt by Master Gardener, Amy Haun. It will cover the basics of pest management in the garden and how to introduce beneficial insects. As always, these classes are free and open to the public. The class begins at 12:15 and goes until 1:30 pm.
We ask that volunteers come dressed for working outside, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle. Our Saturday Workdays are open to the community, so there is no need to sign up in advance. Come for the whole morning or just come for an hour. We look forward to working with you! If you have any questions email us at email@example.com

If you are on Western Avenue heading away from downtown, you'll go through the 17th St. intersection and also the Middlebrook/University Avenue intersection. Continue over the hill and turn right on Reynolds St. After 800 yards, turn left into the gravel road, there will be a sign that says "Ed Cothren Pool." Follow the gravel road uphill to the right, past the basket ball courts. You will see the greenhouse and barn. Parking is available near the barn. Call 865-546-8446 if you have trouble finding us.
