Based in Memphis, Ori Naftaly & Southern Avenue brings infectious rhythms, soulful vocals and guitar stylings to the stage. Southern Avenue consists of award winning, Israeli born guitarist Ori Naftaly, vocalist Tierinii Jackson, her younger sister Tikyra Jackson on drums, and Daniel Mckee on bass, and Jeremy Powell on keyboards. Naftaly came to Memphis in 2013 to compete at the International Blues Challenge, where his namesake band reached the semifinals and sold the largest number of CDs ever in the competition's history. He has shared the stage with some of the best acts in the business: Tab Benoit, Ana Popovic, Bernard Allison, Shemekia Copeland, Marcia Ball, and many more. In the past year, he joined forces with the Jackson sisters. A preacher's daughter who began her singing career as the youngest member in the choir of a church in the heart of Memphis, Tierini Jackson has a voice that is soulful, raw, powerful, and sultry. Together, Southern Avenue is taking the blues world by storm!
