The Maryville College Division of Fine Arts will present a faculty showcase recital on Fri., Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
During the recital, faculty will perform a diverse program on piano, brass, voice and strings. It will include selections from Mozart to bluegrass and will feature the faculty in solos, duets, trios and more.
Faculty performers include: Carl Gombert, professor of art; Chase Hatmaker '14, adjunct choral assistant; Alicia Massie-Legg, lecturer in music; Harold Nagge, adjunct instructor of guitar; David Rasnake, technical director of the Clayton Center for the Arts; Eric Simpson, lecturer in music education and director of bands; Meredith Simpson, adjunct instructor of horn; Caroline Stuart ’17, event coordinator for the Clayton Center for the Arts; Bill Swann, professor of music; and Stacey Wilner, senior lecturer in music and director of choral activities.
