Newport, TN has had an operating skatepark since the Summer of 2008. Although when the skatepark first opened there were many skaters anxious to skate the fresh concrete, grind the new boxes/benches, and just shred the park in general, but that has changed. Newport is down to fewer than 6 skateboarders who rarely skate because the scene has declined so greatly. Please come out and support the sport that is always entertaining to do and watch. Spread the word
and tell you're friends who might be interested in competing or just watching, tell your family to come support you as well in what you love doing most. Spectating is free for this event. This whole event was organized to bring people together that have a common interest and show that interest to as many people possible. Maybe even bring some new comers the joy of skateboarding or putting an older generation back on a board. This event is made possible only by our church and sponsor Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. They have a mission as well and that is to spread the Gospel Of Jesus Christ to as many as possible. Educating them th Salvation is not very far away at all and through our Lord and Savior, we can all be saved. So! PLEASE come out, bring you're family and friends and support skateboarding! All funds raised will be put towards improving the skatepark of Newport.

The KOTM Competition is a skateboarding event brought to you by the skaters for the skaters. Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church makes this event possible for us
