Assisted living communities fill the needs of a special group of senior adults who want or need assistance to maintain an active, independent lifestyle, but are not in need of the costly medical care found in the institutional setting of a nursing home.
Manorhouse residents enjoy security, supervision and assistance as needed with their daily living activities. At Manorhouse, assistance is always given in a warm and caring manner and is provided as needed in the areas of:
We believe that just because a senior adult needs a little help, it doesn't mean that he or she is ready for a nursing home. At Manorhouse, we strive to preserve each resident's dignity, privacy and independence while providing a most satisfying lifestyle. We offer our residents the recreational, social, emotional and spiritual environment that has proven to preserve and prolong good health and a sense of well being.
Life Connections™ Program at The Pavilion
Because caring for our residents' present and future needs is important, Manorhouse has developed an enhanced care program called Life Connections™ within a dedicated part of each community, The Pavilion, for residents who experience Alzheimer's Disease or other memory-related impairments.
Life Connections™ is a progressive care program which combines the Manorhouse philosophy of care with the most current dementia care research, treatment and services such as sensory stimulation, dining and hydration programs, reminiscence kits and life skills stations.
At Manorhouse, we understand that those with memory-related disorders, such as Alzheimer's Disease, have varying needs as their disease progresses. We have programs in place to appropriately address each resident's needs at each stage so that they are provided with care and activities that offer the level of assistance they need while fostering independence and respecting their individuality.
Our Pavilion employees are a large part of what makes the Life Connections™ Program so special. Not everyone can work in The Pavilion. Manorhouse is very selective in choosing employees that demonstrate the deep compassion and commitment necessary to be a successful Pavilion team member. Each employee that works in The Pavilion receives special training in dementia care so that they understand the physical and emotional challenges that our residents and their families experience. In addition, the company provides on-going, state-of-the-art training and education to each Pavilion employee as we continue to seek new ways to improve and expand service, care and programming for our residents.
At Manorhouse, we deliver the absolute best in care and programs for our residents with memory-related impairments. Our staff is focused on staying current with all medical research and trends in dementia care, and translates that knowledge into our programming allowing Manorhouse to continue as a leader in this field.
To support the Manorhouse mission of exceeding customer expectations in a unique and outstanding way, we're continually seeking better ways to serve our residents and their families. In order to achieve this, we continually monitor our systems, look for new opportunities to improve or expand services and ask for feedback from our residents and their families.
At Manorhouse, our staff takes pride in their work and staff members are dedicated to making each resident's comfort and safety their highest priority. And, at Manorhouse, we believe in preserving the dignity and encouraging the independence of our residents while providing service in a warm, caring and friendly way.
We understand the challenges families face when choosing an assisted living community. Our expertise provides your family quality care & peace of mind.
